Merck Animal Health Releases Results
of Second U.S. Veterinarian Wellbeing Study
We are proud of our role in conducting this landmark study in collaboration with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and hope to help AVMA bring critical awareness and solutions to this important matter to better meet veterinarians’ needs. This is the second study to examine job satisfaction, compensation, burnout, substance use disorder, cyberbullying and suicide among veterinarians while evaluating potential solutions. Data from U.S. veterinarians revealed that attitudes toward mental health are improving, but there’s significant work to do related to treatment.

Veterinary Student Innovation Awards
Merck Animal Health presents a $500 cash award to a graduating senior at each veterinary school in the U.S. and Canada for achieving excellence in innovation. This first-of-its-kind award is given in partnership with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation.
