Veterinary professionals know well, life with a puppy isn’t always picture perfect. In addition to all the cuteness, there comes some hard work and even the occasional fleas and ticks! That’s why choosing the right protection is so important. In taking BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews, puppies can get just the right amount of protection they need for their growing bodies—simply choose the appropriate size based on their weight.

INDICATIONS:
BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews kill adult fleas and are indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations(Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment and control of tick infestations (Ixodes scapularis [black-legged tick], Dermacentor variabilis [American dog tick], and Rhipicephalus sanguineus [brown dog tick]) for one month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews are also indicated for the treatment and control of Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick) infestations for one month in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.

As your puppy patients grow up, you can easily transition them from BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews to extended-duration BRAVECTO Chews—this improves the likelihood of compliance, because of the multiple-month protection that extended-duration BRAVECTO Chews provide in a single dose.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:

BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews are for dogs 8 weeks of age and older. Side effects may include itching, diarrhea, vomiting, decreased appetite, elevated ALT, lethargy, and weight loss. Fluralaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. BRAVECTO 1-MONTH Chews are not effective against A.americanum in puppies less than 6 months of age. BRAVECTO Chews for Dogs: The most commonly reported adverse reactions include vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, polydipsia, and flatulence. BRAVECTO Chews have not been shown to be effective for 12-weeks’ duration in puppies less than 6 months of age. BRAVECTO Chews are not effective against lone star ticks beyond 8 weeks of dosing.
